Hydraulic systems are found today in a wide variety of domestic applications, from small assembly processes to integrated applications in steel mills and paper mills. Hydraulics allow the operator to perform important work (lifting heavy loads, turning a shaft, drilling precision holes, etc.) with minimal effort on the mechanical linkage.
